Meeting up with our Members – in London

The doorway of the Mildmay Club in Stoke Newington

We’re hosting our next Member Meet-up at the Mildmay Club in London on 26 February.

The first Member event of 2025 is the latest in a recurring series of in-person and virtual meetings for our savers and borrowers.

These events keep our Members informed about what’s happening at Ecology and give them the opportunity to meet our colleagues and each other, and put questions to our senior team.

On 26 February, we’ll be updating Members on progress with our ambitious transformation programme. This investment to modernise our systems and technology will improve our service to Members and set us up for sustainable growth, so we can deliver greater impact and remain relevant into the future.

We’ll be talking more about our restated Purpose and how we’re moving forward with Ecology’s Net Zero transition, as well as how we can support Members on their own Net Zero journeys.

Places at the Member Meet-up are free to Ecology Members and include a light lunch.

The event on 26 February starts at 12 noon and a limited number of tickets are still available.

You can book a place here.

We chose the Mildmay Club to host our event because Ecology’s sustainable lending has helped to secure the future of this historic venue, which has been at the heart of the Stoke Newington community for more than a century.

Originally known as the Mildmay Radical Club when it opened in 1888, the club has been in its current home since 1900. The Grade II-listed building on Newington Green is one of London’s few remaining, purpose-built social (working men’s) clubs to survive from that era.

For those Members unable to attend, you’ll be able to read all about it after the event here on the Hub.

We’ll also share details of more Member Meet-ups once these are confirmed.
