Ethical ‘Best Buy’ Status Retained

We’ve again been selected as an ethical ‘Best Buy’ for our mortgages and savings accounts by Ethical Consumer magazine in its latest ethical product guide ranking.

EthicalConsumer

As reported in the July/August 2016 issue of Ethical Consumer, the magazine undertook a survey that rated lenders on a range of environmental and ethical criteria. We received a clean bill of health on all counts and, as well as receiving the ‘best buy’, we also ranked top in a range of ethical criteria for our mortgages and our savings accounts compared to other banks and building societies.

Rob Harrison, Editor, Ethical Consumer said

“Ecology has consistently led the way in providing ethical mortgages and savings accounts. At Ethical Consumer, we’re again delighted to recognise their efforts with an Ethical Consumer Best Buy for their continued commitment to offer a social and environmental alternative to the mainstream banks.”

“We’re proud to be at the forefront of the most exciting type of finance there could be: using money to make a positive difference for people and planet. Our Ethical Consumer ‘Best Buy’ and top ranking for our mortgages and saving accounts show that our approach to ethical finance is hard wired into the way we do business and demonstrate how we are delivering on our mission to build a greener society.”
