Double Award Win For Ecology In The British Bank Awards 2021

We have won two awards in the British Bank Awards 2021

The Society won the ‘Best Ethical Financial Provider‘ and the ‘Treating Customers Fairly Champion‘ awards categories.

Our Chief Executive, Paul Ellis said,

“We were thrilled to be a finalist in six categories of the British Bank Awards 2021, thanks to the amazing support and loyalty of our members. 

“In our 40th year of building a greener society it is great to win two awards by being recognised in the ‘Best Ethical Finance Provider’ and ‘Treating Customers Fairly Champion’ categories, which is a testament to the trust our members place in our commitment to the Society’s ecological mission and to transparency in all we do. Balancing the needs of savers and borrowers is at the heart of our vision to bring a fairer, more sustainable future closer to becoming a reality.”

The results of awards are based on feedback received by customers and recognise the best service, innovation and most trusted financial brands in the UK.  This year more than 90,000 customers had their say on their top banking and financial services firms.

We were finalists in six categories and the combination of this and our success in two of the categories is a fantastic accolade for Ecology and we’d like to thank all of our members who took the time to vote for us.
