Changes to Ecology Mortgages

We are now considering applications for self-build and custom-build mortgages on projects aiming for EPC A and Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH) level 4 as well as continuing to support projects aiming for Passivhaus, AECB Silver, EPC A+ and CSH levels 5 and 6. If your project meets these criteria, we would be pleased to hear from you.

We are now also accepting conversion proposals, where dwellings are being created from non-domestic buildings such as barns.

While we continue to see high levels of demand for our mortgages we are now extending our lending criteria. This will still result in us supporting those projects which will have significant gains in terms of carbon reductions, helping us achieve our mission to build a greener society.
