Amanda Chambers to step down as Finance Director
After joining the Society as Finance Director Designate in 2019, and then being co-opted to the Board in 2020, Amanda Chambers has decided that now is the right time for her to step down as Ecology’s Finance Director and from the Board. Amanda is stepping down with effect from 31 August 2022.
Gareth Griffiths, Chief Executive said,
“On behalf of the Board, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Amanda for her contribution to the Society, which has been set against a backdrop of a challenging economy and societal uncertainty throughout the pandemic period. Amanda has made my transition into the Society easier, and I am sure our members will join me in wishing Amanda every success for the future.”
Amanda commented as follows,
“As I step down as Ecology’s Finance Director and look forward to whatever the future holds, I will always be proud of everything both I and the whole team have achieved over the last few years.
“This is a pivotal decade in which to address the planetary emergency and I wish the Society continued success supporting sustainable homes and communities as part of the solution to the climate and ecological crises.”
