Mortgage Underwriter

We're currently looking for an experienced Mortgage Underwriter to join our small and friendly team.

This role is a Member centric role, dedicated to underwriting and processing mortgage applications from across the Society’s product range. As a Mortgage Underwriter you will be empowered to make underwriting decisions or recommendations within policy, procedural guidelines, and delegated mandate.

We'd love to hear from you if you have experience as a Mortgage Underwriter, CeMap qualified with proven customer service experience, with an ability to provide rationale to your decision making. If you don't currently hold the full CeMap qualification we will look to support you in achieving it.

We're currently looking for an Complaints Handler (Fixed Term 12-months) to work across our operations teams.

In this role, you'll  be responsible for handling and resolving complaints to ensure our Members receive a fair outcome. You'll identify trends and root causes and provide input to improve overall Member experience.

We'd love to hear from you if you have experience working in a Bank or Building Society with proven customer service skills. Ideally you'll have a working understanding of Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) complaint handling rules.

We're currently looking for an Application Support Analyst (Fixed Term Contract 12-months) to provide technical support to Ecology's business critical applications.

Supported by the IT Infrastructure & support team you'll investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve queries. You'll also escalate service ticket requests to outsourced service providers, managing these cases through to completion.

We're currently looking for a Project Marketing Manager (12 month fixed Term Contract) to own the delivery of marketing project communications.

We're looking for someone to ensure the successful completion of marketing communication related projects. We'd like someone to help us bring the Ecology brand to life with colleagues. You'll create content which raises brand awareness, product awareness and impact.

Apprenticeship – Customer Service Administrator

We're currently looking for a Customer Service Apprentice. This is a full-time fixed term post, inclusive of one day per week at College to get a fully funded L2 Business Administration qualification. You'll be supported internally with a development plan and externally by the College via a Tutor. Successful completion of the course may lead to full time permanent employment with the Society.

We're small enough that you will be fully immersed in all aspects of our Society’s administration teams. You'll get involved with processes, people, and our Members.

We'd love to hear from you if you have experience of administration and customer service.

​Candidates will have GCSE's grade 9-4 (A-C) in English and Maths. Current GCSE students may also apply whom will receive results in August 2023 and wish to further their career via an Apprenticeship. Employment Start date will be early July 2023, with College enrolment commencing September 2023.

Continuous Improvement Lead

As we navigate a period of transformation and innovation we're looking for an experienced Continuous Improvement Lead. In this role you'll lead a full Product Range Review process to ensure the Society is meeting consumer needs and driving commercial value.

Examining and understanding all aspects of our full product range, using Member and market insight to relay areas needing improvement. You'll  propose how we meet our Member needs and commercial goals with our product set.

You'll also map Member journeys and use consumer data to identify ‘pain points’ and then working with relevant teams and applying continuous improvement methodology to improve the outcome.
