We're owned by our Members and put their interests first, so if you're a part of Ecology we want to hear what you think.

Our AGM is your opportunity to:

• Meet the Ecology team and share your views on our work
• Hear about our 2024 performance
• Meet other Ecology Members in a friendly environment

Voting is your chance to shape how your Society is run. Vote in a way that suits you – online, by post, or in person at our AGM – and the voting process is quick and easy.

As an eligible Member, you will receive an AGM voting pack via post or email.  The pack also contains our Annual Review and Notice of AGM which includes information relating to AGM resolutions.

Simply visit ecology2025.ukeballot.uk to vote online; or scan the QR code on your paper proxy voting form. Alternatively, you can complete the voting form in your AGM voting pack and post it back to us, free of charge.

This year’s voting will be administered by UK Engage, a leading election services provider.

We’ll donate 50p to environmental charity Trees for Cities for every Member who votes online (20p for those voting by post). We’ll also donate £1 to if you choose to go paperless and receive future voting packs by email, which helps reduce our paper use.

Please ensure we receive your vote by 11.59pm on Monday 21 April 2025.

Silsden Town Hall is in the centre of the village where Ecology is based.

The Town Hall can be found in Kirkgate, Silsden BD20 0AJ, about 10 minutes’ walk from our Head Office. We encourage our Members to travel to our events by public transport if possible.

If you're joining us before the AGM, our office is at Ellis House, 7 Belton Road, Silsden BD20 0EE. The nearest railway station is Steeton & Silsden, which is about a mile from our Head Office. For train information and timetables, visit the National Rail website.

The station is on the opposite side of the busy A629 dual carriageway so we have arranged a shuttle minibus service. This will run between 2pm and 3.45pm to bring Members into Silsden, to our Head Office and to Silsden Town Hall, depending on their time of arrival.

The shuttle service will be available to take Members back to Steeton & Silsden station after the AGM.

If travelling by bus, routes 62, 66, 862 and 903 serve the centre of Silsden from the surrounding area. Find out more about public transport options, including route maps and a journey planner, at:  West Yorkshire Metro website.

A limited amount of parking is available at our Head Office. The nearest parking to Silsden Town Hall is a public car park (pay and display), opposite the building on Kirkgate. There is no on-street parking nearby.

Silsden Town Hall is in the heart of the village where Ecology is based, and is home is Silsden Library. The Town Hall and library are run as a community asset, having been saved by the community group, The Friends of Silsden Town Hall, in 2017 when the building was threatened with closure.
